The practice of reflection provides us
with the opportunity to treat everything that happens as food for thought, and
as an opportunity. This perspective leads us (teachers and children) down a
path of continual growth, refinement of many
skills, and
the enhancement of our capacity to understand and support others.
When parents read stories or other
documentation about classroom and studio work, they often have more to talk
about with their children
and
with the teachers. The conversations spiral. One idea or question leads to
another, and another. We all grow, and are filled with a sense of wonder.
The
quality of the work we do can be measured by the depth of our relationships.
